About Daniel Stephen "Steve" Holland

Daniel Stephen "Steve" Holland was born in Tupelo, MS on November 5, 1955. He attended Northwest Mississippi Community College and transferred to Mississippi State University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. He also holds a Master's degree from the University of Mississippi. He has worked as a farmer and as an aide to Congressman Jamie Whitten and Senator Thad Cochran, and he was the co-owner of the Holland-Harris Memorial Funeral Home. He is married to the former Gloria Temple and is of the Methodist faith.

Representative Holland is a member of many different clubs and organizations, including Civitan Club, Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, the Masons, the Shriners, the Mississippi Soybean Association, the Tombigbee Electric Power Association, and the Farm Bureau. Representative Holland was relected in 2007.
