The John Marshall Stone Collection consists of two letter books containing copies of Stone's correspondence from 1893-1899. Correspondents include the President of the United States, various federal and state officials, governors of other states and United States Senators. Other pieces of correspondence contain information about Stone's service in the Confederate army, focusing on his experiences at the Battles of Antietam and the Wilderness.
