Old Main Academic Center rooms now available for reservation (08/10/2017)

August 10, 2017

Old Main Academic Center's group study rooms, classrooms, and other beautiful, comfortable spaces are now available for reservation to MSU faculty, staff, and students.

The 14 group study rooms are intended for class or research work and study by groups of two or more people. Select study rooms include digital displays for laptop connection - perfect for collaboration and presentation practice. Students can reserve a room for up to two hours at a time.

The Center's 20 classrooms include attendance scanners, whiteboards, and teaching lecterns equipped with the latest technology. While the Office of the Registrar handles classroom scheduling, the Center's classrooms can be reserved when they are not in use.

The Turner A. Wingo Auditorium, named for an MSU alumnus and successful businessman, can also be used as a classroom (or divided into two classrooms). Like the other classrooms, the Auditorium can be requested for special academic events.

For outdoor events, there is an Amphitheatre on the south side of the Center.
