One of the benefits Mississippi State receives as an Adobe Creative Campus is continued learning opportunities.

Through free trainings, MSU faculty, staff and students can improve their skills and marketability, according to Thomas La Foe, Technology & Innovation Director for the MSU Libraries.

“The MSU Libraries has taught Adobe workshops for 20 years,” La Foe said, “and we continue to do so. But with this new designation as an Adobe Creative Campus we are able to offer enhanced training by partnering with Adobe and tapping into their resources and expertise.”

La Foe said MSU and the MSU Libraries is excited to team with Adobe to offer an advanced post-production and camera-to-cloud training on Friday, May 5.

The virtual panel will feature post-production experts Tom Frenette of the Golden State Warriors, Taylor Gilkeson of the Los Angeles Rams, and Kara Spierto of the Atlanta Hawks!

“Participants will have an opportunity to learn about their post-production workflows and see how they use Premiere Pro and Frame.io to shoot and edit content using Camera-to-Cloud technology,” according to Steve Watson of Adobe. “The trio will also discuss their career paths and give advice on how to succeed as professional editors.”
